Have you ask someone with something you need? In your relationship, have you demanded something from them to provide or give it to you like time or care or your worth? In your job, have you demanded to your boss for a raise or promotion? Did you receive what you asked for? Did you get what you want? Here me out.

Some people wouldn't ask for it, like me, thinking that they know what I need and they should give it since I deserve it. Well, I was wrong for not asking and demanding and I lost the opportunity or chance to make things right and work for the best.

Demanding is one of your rights in a relationship or job. Asking is something as well. Demand or ask in a right way and when you are in the right position or situation.

Someone told me that a person wouldn't know the problem, what you need, or what's missing if you won't say anything. It doesn't mean that if you're not demanding or asking anything to that person means he knows what he is going to give with what you deserve even if you are doing great in your job or relationship. Just demand so that he knows and he is aware with that you need, what is missing and what is the problem. He just might give what you need, what you deserve, and make it work. (My boss)

Asking or demanding doesn't only works with relationship or job, but also with God. How? God knows what you need and what your heart desire, but that doesn't mean you're not going to ask Him since you think He is just going to give it to you with a snap. WRONG! Erase that from your mind and in your whole system. As what the Bible says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7 NIV). It says that just ask, demand or talk to Him with what your heart desire and you will receive. But then, bear in mind as the Bible says also "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." (Matthew 21:22 NIV). Not because I said that ask and you will receive, but also truly believe, have faith, and a total surrender to Him and you will receive.

"Peej, I asked and prayed this to Him but He didn't give it to me. I did what you said, but nothing happened. Nothing is happening." Well to answer that, we can also find it in the Bible saying "8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV). It simply saying that maybe what you want isn't what God wants for you or there is something better than what you are praying for or wait for it. I know your intentions are good with what your heart desires the most, believe me I know, but His intention in your life is best of all.

I still have this desire in my heart that I keep on praying to Him and I even cried it out that only He and I knows, but of course I can't fight it with Him if He is not giving it to me or letting it happen in my life. A total surrender and letting Him move my life will make the best out of me and doing His purpose in me.

Keep in mind, God doesn't always answer your prayer with a yes. If He did, would you still be alive? Would you still be giving Him praises and worship every single day? He answers us with a YES, NO, WAIT, or THERE IS SOMETHING BETTER I HAVE PREPARED FOR YOU.

"16 Rejoice always; 17 pray without ceasing; 18 in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NASB)

"6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 6:4 NASB)

I pray that we all surrender our everything to Him and let Him move our life the way He planned or designed our life.

Let His will be done and not ours.

Again, do not be afraid in asking or demanding thinking you will not receive. If you did not receive say thank you and if you did, give thanks as well.

All for Christ.
